Bon Voyage...

Everyone, we need help! Aaron and I are going on a trip for Aaron's graduation/anniversary/birthdays/we didn't really get a honeymoon/Aaron got a signing bonus! We are thinking of going on a cruise but have never been on one. We've heard people talk about how much fun they are and that they loved them and so we want to try one, but we need help. Everyone who has ever been on a cruise, wanted to go on a cruise, loved a cruise, hated a cruise, researched a cruise, etc. tell us which lines are the best, is it a big deal to have an ocean view room, where did you go, what is important to look for, how early do you need to book, etc., etc. We are thinking we'll leave from LA since that is the closest to us. So please, please let us know, even if you just happened upon my blog through stalking it and don't even know me :) We want to go in May in Aaron's break between graduation and starting to study for the CPA exam.

Life continues on here, I am very ready for the weekend. We won our soccer game this week 9-0!! It was so much fun. I had like 5 chances to score and never got a goal. I was so mad, one was going to be this amazing header and it missed the goal. Aaron continues playing basketball, with a brace and won his game this week too. His team is getting better each game and Aaron played awesome. Everyone kept coming up to me and saying, "that's your husband." I know, I'm so lucky.

I loved the Disney Cruise. Totally clean and family friendly. Lots to do for adults to. I went like 10 years ago, so I'm sure it has changed. My brother just went on a cruise and he LOVED it. I'll get more info and send in an e-mail. They left from San Diego. He said it's not too expensive either.

no clue, my family went on a cruise without me one year...I was in PA doing that stupid selling books job. Anyway, I think they liked it!

Ok this is random. Ambyr is my cousin so I saw you and Aaron on her website. Aaron was in one of my singles' wards at BYU. We lived at Devonshire. So, Congratulations on getting married! You actually look really familiar too. I think I met you at my Aunt Karen's house. What a small world! I've never been on a cruise but I've always wanted to go on one- sorry no advice.

OK, Adam and I took a carnival cruise for our honeymoon and hated it. I mean, we loved our honeymoon, but the cruise in itself was definitely cheap. Everyone was drunk all the time, it had a feel of a casino, and they showed three terrible movies in our room and nothing else. The food was good though. :) I guess it just depends on how much you're willing to spend. Good luck finding something. We're jealous. :)

Yeah, I kinda agree with cassie. As I wrote in my blog, our honeymoon cruise wasn't that fun, but I think it was mostly cause it was just the 2 of us. I'm expecting this cruise in March to be way more fun. We are going on Carnival (the same line we went on before), so maybe it's just the cruise line that sucks. I've heard Carnival isn't the best, but who knows. Maybe it's all about who you're with and where you go. So bottom line: go with a group. Oh, and last time we went, we had an oceanview room, and this time we won't, so I'll let you know if oceanview is way better. And I don't think it matters too much about how far in advance you book it. The prices just go up the closer it is. Ok I just keep thinking about more things to tell you, so here's the REAL last thing...if you do go with a group, make sure to have the same table for the dressy dinners. (Again, those dinners will be way more fun with your friends than strangers that they just put you with.) K hopefully that all made sense.

Hey Haley! It's great to be able to see what ya'll are up to! Congrats on getting married! So, I went on a cruise in high school, I dont remember the name, but we just had the regular rooms and they are horribly small!!! They are a small dark box. We went on a cruise for our honeymoon and spent the extra bucks to get a little bit larger room with a private patio and it was sooo worth it. We went with the Princess cruise liner because that's the one that the Wallace's always use. It is very family friendly. When we docked at one of the ports, there was another ship next to use and everyone was drunk, hanging off their balconies and yelling all kinds of junk at everyone. It was either Carnival or Royal Caribbean. At that point we realized how great Princess was. We also wished we would have done more of the excursions they offered. They are pretty pricey, but it's worth the great time and memories you'll have.
