On Saturday night Aaron had a date night planned with the kids. He wanted to take them canoeing on townlake but traffic was awful and I suggested they go to Lake Plugerville instead. Somehow this turned into an entire family event. I'm so glad that it did because Brooke loved it and it was a perfect evening. It wasn't very crowded at all and Josie was able to run and swim.
There was lots of digging, running, splashing and mote building going on.
And of course lots of snacking.
And rock eating.
After the lake we went to Jason's Deli for dinner. (Our kids love eating out more than just about anything) And of course the best part of Jason's Deli is the free ice cream at the end.
I think they look so much alike in this picture. We take food very seriously. :)
