We arrived on Thursday evening and the kids were on cloud 9. Aaron's client is in Dallas right now and so we went and met him for dinner and then Aaron and I flew out early Friday morning for Vegas. The kids didn't miss us one bit. On Friday they played at the house and Mimi came over to visit with them. They were so happy to have their cousin Sheppard at the house and just enjoyed playing in the back yard and swimming in the little pool.
Then on Saturday they went to Mia's soccer game and played on the playground by her game. My kids LOVE their cousin Mia so this was a real treat for many reasons.
Apparently Mia was nice enough to share her post game snacks.
Then that night they went to the pumpkin patch.
Camilla made a "scary" pumpkin.
Delicious Fall treats were had by all.
Then Aaron and I were back early Sunday morning (like 2 AM early). We stayed most of Sunday relaxing, watching Conference, and eating dinner with my Granddad and Allyne for his birthday. The kids were happy to see us but I'm pretty sure they would've been happier if we had left for a few more days. :)
The whole rest of the week my kids were trying to figure out how we could live at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Like if Cory and Delaney would move out and then they could share a room with Sheppard, etc. etc. They sure love going to Arlington!
