Best, most exhausting day ever

So last Saturday was the craziest, most fun day ever. We had so much planned to do and we kept thinking that some things would get cancelled from the rain but then it ended up being this perfectly sunny day. So first of all Aaron took the big kids up to the church to clean. Brooke and I stayed home to get everything packed and ready to go. Then we went straight to Carson's last soccer game. It was a make up soccer game and we were so happy to have one last game after missing so many. Carson had fun but it was HOT and there was no shade. After the game we did awards, pizza, and snacks. The kids were all so happy.
Then we loaded up the kids and went to our Ward party. It was at a big splash pad at a big park in North East Austin. The kids were so thrilled for this. We changed the kids in the car, sprayed on sun screen and off they went. They were running in the water, swinging with friends, and getting so dirty in the sand for a few hours.

They kept the snow cones coming and Carson was eating as many as he could get his hands on.

We filled these tables with lots of yummy food and hot dogs.

We were wiped out by the end of this. We came home and put Brooke to bed and even though Aaron was exhausted he had promised the Cs a date today for filling up their sticker charts. So after a power nap he set off for the bowling alley.

The bowling didn't last long but luckily you pay by how long you play. :)

Then it was on to air hockey. Camilla had candy lined up next to her and after every time she hit the puck she took a bite of candy.

I think these are skittles. My girl loves her candy.

Then they pretended to play video games for a bit.

Group shot! Love, love, love them.

Then on the way home Aaron and the kids picked up the babysitters and we quickly barked out instructions and hit the road for the Wyeth's going away party. Tears... this was just as fun as expected. All our friends, getting together to enjoy some delicious food and games. I so love this family, it is a true loss for them to go.
