Little Rock

We made our way back to Little Rock to spend Thanksgiving with the Piersons.

On Monday morning Aaron wanted to run up Pinnacle Mountain. This was a goal he set before we left town and Monday was a beautiful day. He had a lot of fun and it was a great hike.

So beautiful.

Later that day he went golfing with his Dad.

We spent a lot of time playing with cousins and having fun. The kids had so much fun running around the house, working on crafts, making food and watching movies. It was such a fun time.

Of course baths in Grandma's big tub are always a hit.

It wouldn't be a trip to Grandma's house without some yoga.

I took the kids to the park for the morning while Aaron had to work and we had so much fun. Spencer took a head first dive off a slide. Poor baby.

The boys off exploring.

The next day we took the kids to the children's museum. They had a great time.

Being news reporters.

They had a karaoke room which was a big hit for Brooke and Spencer.

Thanksgiving Day was filled with lots of food and family. We were not so good about taking pictures that day but the food was delicious and it was fun to spend time with family. Adam and Cassie came for a bit with their kids and Clausens were there and we got to see Alyssa and her family. It was a full day.

After all the feasting and cleaning we decided to get the kids out of the house for a bit so Aaron's Mom (who got up at 4 in the morning to make rolls) could take a rest.

It was fun and the kids enjoyed playing. Brookey also did the monkey bars by herself for the first time!

That night we watched Minions and started packing. Then Friday morning we got up and got ready to go. The kids were sad to leave, we had such a fun trip. The drive back was long (as drives home always are) but we were all so happy to be back in our house after being gone for just over a week. Such a wonderful Thanksgiving and at the top of my gratitude list are these 5 people in my life.
