Big Recap

February has come and gone so quickly. We have been very busy and have had lots of fun. Just a few highlights for this month.

Swim, swim, swim. Camilla and Spencer hang out during swim lessons.

Sometimes we make swim lessons a whole family affair.

The girls decided to have a picnic on the table in the living room. Fruit and protein balls.

One Saturday morning after I got home from my run we decided to have a (clothing optional) family plank. Carson lasted 10 minutes! That is amazing. He kept saying, "I am just going to go for one more minute." I was very proud.

Simon got baptized. The kids loved his baptism and we are very happy that Carson has such a great friend and good example to look up to. Brooke keeps saying she doesn't want to go to church anymore, "just Simon's baptism."

Carson got some dominoes and he loves to play. This kid is a math whiz. Sometimes he sets up games and players and just plays for everyone and does the math.

I want to do more stuff just me and Carson. It usually ends up being Carson and Aaron and needs more time with his mamma. So one night after everyone else was in bed I said, "hey Carson want to go get a special treat just you and me." He said,"can Dad come too?" I explained that someone had to stay at home, he agreed to come with me. We had a lot of fun just talking and eating Snow Monster.

February has been so warm. We have loved the beautiful spring weather. We spend so much time on walks, working in the yard, going to the park and playing in the backyard.

I'm very deep into my marathon training at this point and running is taking over our routine again. I am loving it, Aaron endures it gracefully.

I mean was I supposed to just walk through Target and not buy this mermaid swimsuit for Brookey?

Carson had a super fun birthday party for his friend, Enock. He had a blast and could've stayed the whole day (he did stay half the day).

Go Kart racing was the favorite.

Yes, February, roasting marshmallows in our swimsuits. We had some friends over for pizza and s'mores and we all had a great time.
