Stake Service Project

Our stake had a service project this past weekend at a middle school not far from our house. We did a lot of good work. I was amazed at how many people were there and how much we were able to get done. We really tried to explain the importance of this to our kids and I am glad that we were able to be a part of it. We were lucky enough to get to be a part of the wild flower planting. The kids loved making the seed balls and throwing them out.

Of course there was lots of snow cone eating going one as well.

The kids really wanted to wear the Helping Hands jerseys.

Aaron and I traded off after that taking care of kids and working. We worked on the landscaping of the gazebo that we built. At the end the kids came out to help us too. They loved working on this part and raking the dirt.

Such a great service project. Aaron and I were both so impressed with how hard everyone was working.
