A week through Face Time

So sometimes Aaron catches great pictures when we are facetiming. Here are a few that he got this week.

Camilla and Carson climbed up on the fence to try and look for a ball they threw over. I told Millie if she got up that she had to get herself down. 

She was scared but did it. We sure love our fearless girl.

Then of course Friday mornings look a lot like this. My girls love their Dad. 

And of course a fun Friday night trip to get some Frozen Yogurt. 

Who doesn't love that? :) 

Cinderella

When Millie filled up her sticker chart she was begging for me and her to see Cinderella. Well with Aaron out of town its hard for me to get one on one time so I turned it into our FHE activity for the week.

We got there and had the entire theater to ourselves. No one else was there. It was nice to be able to be loud. Move seats often and not worry about Brooke being all over the place. (I won't be taking her to another movie for awhile)

They were pretty excited about it. 

Darling movie, my kids were only kind of into it but I really liked it! 

Easter

We had such a fun Easter this year. It worked our wonderfully that it was General Conference so we would spend time listening about Christ while we were teaching our children the importance of the resurrection. It was also a very fun weekend. Our kids were more excited counting down the days until Easter then they were for Christmas. 

We did the egg dying. I'll be honest, not my favorite but the kids love it. Why does it have to be so messy??? 

We had all our friends over for an Easter dinner. It was so delicious and a blast. Our house was filled to the brim and it was madness in the backyard but we sure love our friends and had a great time. Then we went to a park nearby for the egg hunting. Oh man the kids were excited.

Carson was a mad man, he wanted lots of eggs. 

Brooke only got one or two. But hey, she's walking!

After this the men left to watch Priesthood session of conference and we all stayed and let the kids played until we HAD to get home for the whole bed time thing. It was a perfect evening. 

Just some cute ones...

Just some cute things from this week. Carson filled up his sticker chart and had a date with Dad. He picked swimming and snow monster (a fan favorite) but Aaron surprised him and picked up his friend Simon to come along. They had a great time. 

We had a beautiful Friday night dinner outside at Hopdoddy's. We are officially a four burger family there. Carson wants his own burger. 

And Brooke can put way some truffle fries. 

Josie is such a good dog.

Sisters

So something I am LOVING lately is how much Camilla and Brooke are starting to enjoy each other. Now that Brooke can walk and the weather is lovely they play outside together for hours, every day. They both love it. Camilla asks Brooke if she wants to go outside and picks her up and takes her outside. They love playing in our plastic house and Millie loves having someone who wants to "watch her" all the time. Its been so nice that when Carson is home but needs to do homework, practice piano, etc. Millie has another playmate. I am LOVING it I tell you. I heard the girls giggling in the backyard yesterday and came out to find this scene. 

Brooke watching Millie do gymnastics and hearing Millie say, "you can't do this fuzzball not until you are 3 and a half like me."

And the girls having a tea party under the trampoline. They both had babies and blankets for their babies. They were both taking very good care of them. Love them. 

My kids are just all in really good stages of playing well together and it makes life so much easier! This night I got dinner ready, house picked up and home work done without a single moment of holding my girls, entertaining my girls or feeding them snacks, this is a very rare occasion.  

Smoothies

We make a lot of smoothies in this house. My kids all love them and I always have fruit and vegetables that I need to use up so it works out perfect. My kids always want to sit on the counter while I am making them but they hate how loud our blender is. 

But everyone sure loves drinking them. They usually end up taking them outside and drinking them in the backyard. I sure love spring around here and how much all 3 of my kids love playing in the backyard.

And also my messiest eater. I made smoothies with dinner one night this week and she decided to try and use her straw for a spoon. Oh my goodness she was such a mess. 

She sure enjoyed every second of it, that makes one of us! :) 

Missing Daddy

Brooke is really starting to miss Daddy when he is gone. Last week Aaron got home Thursday night after she was asleep and gone in the morning before she woke up so it had been a long time since they had seen each other. She layed like this with him for about 5 minutes. It was the sweetest thing.
