Our Second Week of Spring Break kicked off with Carson finally loosing a very wobbly front tooth. He was so excited about it. He couldn't wait to place it under his pillow for the tooth fairy. The Tooth Fairy brought him a note that said he could go on one date with his Dad for a special lunch and a special drink. Carson was so excited and it took Camilla about 30 seconds to wiggle herself into this date.
So it was Chuy's with Dad and Camilla and special lemonade to drink.
We got much better weather the second week of spring break so we could take bike rides and go on walks and spend more time at home. The kids spent a lot of time playing on the trampoline.
Then it was finally time to go to Grandma and Grandpa's house. The kids had been counting down the days. They were thrilled. Brookey started squealing the moment we pulled up to their house. The kids jumped out of the car and immediately got to work playing. One of the highlights was when Sheppard and Evie got there. Carson was thrilled to play with Sheppy and Millie and Brookey were enthralled with baby Evie (who is not so much a little baby anymore).
We also got to see the twins who are beautiful, perfect, and tiny. And spend some time with Adam and Cassie's family. The kids spent countless hours playing in the garage and driveway with Grandpa. They played soccer and Grandpa built them a really cool car to drive.
On Saturday we went to Costa Vida for lunch, went swimming at my parent's gym, I visited Mimi and went to the temple and then on Saturday night Aaron, Carson, and I went to the Piano Guys concert. We had SO much fun. It was a great show! Carson absolutely loved it.
We let Carson get a big pretzel and nachos during intermission and we were still eating them when the show started back up. Carson immediately took the food, closed it up and put it back under the seat. "We aren't here to eat food Dad, we are here to see the Piano Guy." We sure love this boy and love spending time with just him. He was perfect, of course.
Then on Sunday it was time to come home. The drive was awful, no sugar coating it. It was probably the worst ever. Traffic was unbelievable and never, let up! We didn't get home until after 6 and we were all worn out. No one napped and so we quickly unloaded the van, got Josie and got ready for bed. Monday morning was no treat. :)
