Happy Anniversary!
Today is our one year anniversary! I can't believe it was just a year ago that we were getting married. Man time flies, it was the greatest day ever. Everything was seriously perfect. This last year has been the most amazing of my life. I knew when Aaron and I got married that I loved him, but I didn't know how much MORE I would love him one year later. Love you Aaronbear.

Way to go Spencer!
My brother in law, Spencer, got his scores back from the MCAT yesterday and he rocked it! We are so proud of him. He worked so hard. Now its just narrowing down which schools to apply for. We will, of course, be promoting all of the Texas schools. If I could just find a Texas girl for him to marry now, I'm sure that would seal the deal. :)

Spring, where did you go?
I've been so sad by the lack of a spring season this year. It was horrible, bad, no good, rainy, snowy weather and then now all of the sudden its just hot! I feel like I was completely deprived a beautiful, Utah spring. Utah in the springtime is the very best time of the year, seriously its amazing. I don't mean to be complaining because I am so happy that it is finally hot and we can swim but I really missed those perfect-weather days. Its the best time of the year for reading on the hammock, going on long runs anytime of the day, hikes, and playing tennis. When I told Aaron's mom about this "travesty" in my life she said, "it was so beautiful down south this year, absolutely amazing." We're so close to living down south, less than two months. (yay!)
Also, Aaron cracks me up. I came home the other day from work and Aaron was playing with this plastic spoon that lights up. I was like, did you buy that spoon?!? and so innocently he said, "no, it came in my Frosted Flakes box." That's my 25 year old husband folks, isn't he adorable?

Vegas Trip and Introducing Mia Stephanie Carroll
(Cory is behind me in this picture, no my hair is not that high :)
It has taken me awhile to get the Vegas pictures up, sorry it has been a crazy week. We had a lot of fun in Vegas with my family. It was SO hot, so we spent most of the time in the pool. Of course we loved spending time with our sweet nieces and finally meeting my newest darling niece, Mia. She is a doll, such a sweet baby. I actually got to watch her over night and tried sleeping with her for awhile but it was no go folks. I don't know how you moms handle it, I was so worried I was going to roll over on her or that she would stop breathing or something. I had to trade places with my sister, Tricia, at like 2 AM, who managed to sleep just fine with Mia and her own daughter all in the same bed. Besides swimming, we ate out, ESPN zone, walked the strip, water show, and Mia was blessed on Sunday. Then we left right after church to go straight-well we made a stop at In and Out for cheeseburgers, fries, and milkshakes :)- to see Aaron's family who came in town for his grandma's funeral. I will post pictures with them soon. Our families are doing great, my sister Tricia cut her hair (for those of you who know her, know this is a miracle).
Me singing to Mia at the pool, she loves to be sung to.
My mom with the girls, they started screaming when she got in, "my grandma is getting in the pool!"
Abby taking her chances at the slots. :)
Maili and Abby in their matching outfits. My Mom holding sweet Mia. and last but not least, how could you resist this belly, oh, we love this girl.

Simply Vegas!
Hey everyone, Aaron and I are going to Vegas this weekend and we want to do some fun stuff. We have both been and everything but I feel like we have never taken full advantage of all there is to do there. Most of my family will be there and we are staying on the strip at the Monte Carlo I think. So what should we do? We only have a couple of days but tell me all the fun things to do there. We are really excited, my niece, Mia, is getting blessed while we are there. (I have not posted any pictures of little Mia because I have yet to see one, its a miracle in this day and age that I haven't gotten one picture sent to me besides on my phone!) So we can't wait to see her.
Also, have you tried the Simply juices? Oh my amazing, they are so fabulous. We have tried Simply Orange, Apple, Lime, and Lemonade. They were all so good, we can't live without them now. We have to have them with us always. They are so much better than other kinds of juice. We aren't normally into spending extra money when the store brand will do just fine, but this, my friends is so worth the extra cash. You will not be disappointed.

Chicken for breakfast???
So lately I've been fascinated with the idea of eating chicken for breakfast. All of the fast food restaurants have added chicken sandwiches to their breakfast menus and I see commericials for it all the time. I've never eaten chicken for breakfast, only what come from the chicken. Ham, yes, bacon, of course, even beef...but chicken? Ask anyone and they will tell you that I am a sucker for pictures of food! I always end up ordering food I have driven by pictures of, and without fail I choose the food that is pictured in the menu. So yesterday after seeing a picture of a chicken sandwich for breakfast, I wanted it. So what smell did I find when I got out of the shower this morning...that's right chicken breakfast biscuit from Wendy's. Sweet Aaron went and got it for me. It was total deliciousness. Move over ham!

Blessing baby Blake
This weekend Aaron's parents came in town for Blake's blessing. We had so much fun with them and spending the weekend up in Kayesville. Well we were supposed to spend the whole weekend up there, until I started throwing up in the middle of the night and Aaron had to take me home right after the blessing (which I heard was beautiful). We couldn't believe how big Blake had gotten in less than one month, he is a chunk! Scott and Tyler are as cute as ever and so much fun. One of our favorite Tyler stories was this: He went golfing with his dad and after he hit a few balls, he tooted. Jedd looked back at him and Tyler immediately looked at his dad and said, "there must be a duck around here somewhere." How funny is he? We also planned to have Jeanie (my mother in law) teach enrichment while she was here for my ward. We did an early Saturday morning enrichment with her Yoga class and then had breakfast, it was so much fun. It was a great weekend...well for everyone except poor, sick Haley. :(
Aaron and I sat like this with Blake for hours.
We had so much fun playing with the Wii. Aaron's Dad really liked it.
These boys love their Uncle Spencer.
