Happy 5 years!

Here's to 5 years of marital (mostly) bliss with the love of my world. I cannot imagine being happier with anyone else and I am positive there is no one else that I could have made cuter babies with. I look forward to the adventures that lie ahead for us.

Happy Birthday Carson!

We celebrated Carson's birthday in Arkansas this year during our family reunion. Carson shares his birthday with one of his most favorite cousins, Hallie, and so it was fun to celebrate all together. We sang and had cupcakes. We got away with another year of not buying him any presents, not sure how much longer that will last. :)

He got to spend his birthday playing with cousins and riding down the huge slip n slide. Not a bad way to spend your birthday.

We also celebrated again with my family after we got home and Carson was so excited to see cupcakes again.

I can't believe my Carson is already 3 years old. I feel like he has grown up so much lately its crazy. I am enjoying this age so much and we are having so much fun with our peculiar little boy. Carson is definately his own person and lives in his own little world. He is completely oblivious to things that don't interest him and completely obsessed with things that do. He is reading, writing all his letters, counting by 2s, 5s, and 10s, spelling lots of words - the longest is probably trampoline, and has more books memorized than we do. He loves to jump on the trampoline, swim, swim, swim, say prayers, talk on the pulpit, follow his cousins around, and play with his letters. He is a sweet boy, we have struggled with the hitting and pushing but he is getting better and loves to give lots of hugs and kisses. We are pretty obsessed with his hair and have loved letting it grow out this year and discovering his curls. Carson goes by: Car car, C man, and occasionally baby Carson. Carson also loves to wrestle and could do it all day long. He tries to spend a lot of his time wrestling with his friends and baby sister. Carson has really learned to talk this year. After getting a slow start he is finally using sentences but still talks in 3rd person a lot. (i.e. Carson wants a drink) He prefers his Daddy and loves to go on walks and runs and bike rides. We love you Carson!
